Lake Sammamish State Park is a unique park, set in the center of a rapidly growing urban and
suburban population. Located immediately north and west of the City of Issaquah, Washington, at
the southern tip of Lake Sammamish, the park is surrounded by suburban, urban, and commercial
development.

Envisioned as a model project by Washington State Parks, this renovation project has the potential of influencing the development strategies of parks through the state. In 2009 Sea Reach was hired to develop & design an interpretive masterplan for this park.
